Wadson Silva Art

I am a visual artist and educator living between France and Brazil.
My work explores the interplay of nature, spirituality, and human emotion, expressed through a symbolic and intuitive visual language. I seek to awaken sensitivity and invite reflection through each creation.
Creative silence, rebirth, and new paths. 2023 - 2025
These works breathe pauses and listen to the quiet winds within. Nature, ancestry, and childhood are present in compositions that evoke the rustic, the spiritual, and the essential. Between Brazilian roots and French experiences, painting opens space for simplicity and the sacred, revealing new gestures, textures, and presences — as if each piece were a breath of freedom, a place of return and new beginnings.
Movement, expansion, and belonging. 2019 - 2022
Forms open to the world, touched by constant motion, new studios, and dialogue with nature. Spirituality begins to inhabit the layers of painting, alongside affections, tensions, and the search for value and meaning. The series grow stronger, crossing seas and borders. Between the urban and the organic, the visible and the symbolic, a visual territory takes form where memory, love, and identity intertwine like seeds in transit.
Discovery, roots, and intensity. 2012 - 2018
Paintings emerge as maps of a journey between feeling and uncovering. Colors reveal emotional depth; lines trace paths through art education, indigenous and African ancestries, between margins and centers. There are encounters with villages, favelas, cities, and forests — Salvador, Rio, the Amazon — where experience becomes material. Dreams, pathways, and challenges take shape in compositions marked by intuition and creative urgency.
